Another car question, 17 year old boy?

Ok, I'm really struggling to find a first car. For a start I live in the Highlands of Scotland and it is about 2 hours to any decent car dealership. I have looked on Autotrader and I have come up with some possibilities all of which are ok price wise (insurance as well). There is a Nissan Micra Gx (1998), but its metallic burgundy colour (not sure what to think of it). A Peugeot 106 (1997 I think) which seems good but reviews say that the pedals are too close and too small. Renault Clio is another possible model but its difficult finding one for a decent price nearby. I had looked at a Vauxhall Corsa (1998 I think) but my uncle who is like a car expert has advised me not to get one. Finally the old Ford Fiesta cars seem alright as well but again its difficult finding one I like around here. I'm so confused, its difficult getting cars around here anyway, and the price of the car with insurance I'm aiming to get for �2000 roughly and with the models mentioned thats what I would get (all the cars have been used before). Anybody have any recomendations or websites that sell good second hand cars?
