Can you take a cat on a walk?

Yes, you can take you cat for a walk but if it is a older cat they may not be use to having a harness on them. If this is the case, start off slowly by letting the cat get use to the harness a little bit at a time indoors. Give kitty treats when she has the harness on. Also, this is not to scare you but to make you aware that this could be a possibility, you'll need to bring some pepper spray with you in case their is a loose dog running around that doesn't like cats. Other then that, it is a great way to exercise your new kitty. Every cat is different so it is hard to say what it will do on the walk, but it should pretty much stay close to you.
