Question mostly for boys but girls can answer too?

okay so my boyfriend and i broke up about two months ago...we were and still are very much in love we planned to get married one day and everything. we still do talk about the future together. right now hes trying to get his business and life going aand everything and he says he just dosent want to be wtih anyone but if he were to be with anyone it would be me. we broke up because things were just getting rocky and we were just fiting and bickering. we still talk almost every day and see eachother every once in a while. he tells me he is happy where he is and he needs to focus on himself right now...(he lied a lot and had some problems when he was a child that really effected our relationship.) i dont know if he tells me things like he wants to be with me in the future and everything just because he knows i want to hear it and because he dosent want to hurt me? or if he really means it? i kind of look at it like if he wanted nothing to do with me we wouldnt talk at all or anything. but i dont know he is a very nice and respectful guy so i really dont know what to think. so the question is pretty much do you think hes just saying these things because he knows i want to hear them and he dosent want to hurt me any more or does he really mean them? and do you think he will ever come around and want to be with me agian and how much longer i mean its been two months now...were just stuck here not getting any closer or further.. and what should i do? a lot of people say dont talk to him because he kind of has me where he wants me but if i dont talk to him and kind of lead him to think im moving on and everything he will come running back...? its just so hard not talking and telling him how i really feel?!?!?so lost and confuuused!
