Simple question......just want some opinions.?

I used to text my boyfriend whenever I thought about him. After a while I can't text him every single time I think about him because a. I'm too busy with my job or b. he still knows that I think about him often. I think after 2 years it kinda dies off. I would say to her "what is that supposed to mean?" That is kind of a silly question and immature for them to be saying that.
