What's your honest opinon on the Twilight series?

I read ALOT, and I didn't want to read these because of all the hype about them (lol, this was even before all the movie craze). I've stopped reading "young adult" books a long time ago so I was reluctant about that aspect too, but trust me, you'll freaking love them. They're like crack. I read all four (and bought) within a week. As far as from a literature standpoint Meyer's writing is not all that great, but you'll find yourself so deeply involved in the story you just don't care.
